Old Friends..Good Times

We met up with our good friends the Reads a few weekends ago. When we lived in Dallas 4 years ago (geez was it really that long ago?) we met them in our ward and instantly became friends. I think we hung out with Dan and Steph every single weekend just about! They really made us feel welcomed and loved, and were one of the huge reasons we actually considered buying a house in Texas and making it our permanent home. So, being back in our old stomping grounds we had to say hello. We met up at this little joint, Grimaldi's. It's authentic Brooklyn style pizza (the original one was actually in Brooklyn), and we love pizza and we love the Reads so what a perfect combo!

Steph is also prego (due on Halloween how cool is that?) And aren't their other two kiddos adorable? Last time I saw Steph she was prego with Breckyn her daughter and Locke their son was almost 2! He's now 5 and started kindergarten and Breckyn is 3! Crazy!

afterwards we enjoyed talking and went to have some yogurt at Red Mango. Here is Calvin enjoying his to the fullest :)

Had to throw in this picture too. Don't you just love Sunday naps? I had been in the bed too, but these two sleepy heads kept on sleeping for a good 2 hours after I woke up! :)

Dallas Cowboys

We got the chance to go to one of the Cowboys preseason games at THIS huge place! Cowboy Stadium is insanely huge! But, I loved the fact that it was indoors and air conditioned :)

We had really sweet seats! We were in row 14 or 15, I don't remember, but we could see all the action, but just in case you missed it, there was this 40 yard long screen to show you the replays! Holy moly that thing is huge!!

Calvin is so serious in this photo! He had a blast at the game though, and made lots of friends around us in the stands!
    Got ya!

Yep, we didn't have fun. Nope, not at all!

A VERY sleepy boy on the car ride home!

We fought awful traffic and still made it in plenty of time, but they wanted you to pay $30 and up for parking! No thanks! So, we took a huge risk. There was a super walmart directly across the street from the stadium, and we parked there. We were really afraid we were going to get towed or get a ticket, because wouldn't it seem that alot of people would park there? After the game, Jess took Calvin into Walmart and I searched for the car. We figured, who would question a lone pregnant woman? Luckily, our car was still there, and NO ticket! Woo hoo! So we got super nice seats for a decent price, and FREE parking! Go us! :)
