A reno thanksgiving!

For thanksgiving this year we went to Reno to be with Jess' ma and pa Rees and kathryn! It was so fun! We went 4 wheeling up into the sierra nevadas one day to find some indian petroglyphs in the rocks it was AMAZING! it was pretty cold but we bundled up!

So...we had a really good time and it was so good to see his parents! It's so weird to be in utah, but i am loving being with my family and my friends! Especially my twin sister aly, we're already attatched at the hip anyway, but being away from her for 2 years almost SUCKED! so..i see her everyday now haha! It's like Jess has two wives! but not really..

HOUSEEEEE

I don't have a lot of time, but I just wanted to let everyone know that we BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! HOORAYYY!! it's in pleasant grove utah and has 4 beds and 2 bathrooms with 1800 sq. feet all together! It even has a fenced in yard for higgins! I'll write back more when i have time!

Exhausted..but on the move AGAIN

What a week!! So, we jetted to Utah for my best friend abbie's wedding:) it was terrible weather the day of..like seriously snowing raining, hurricane force winds, but it ended up all working out! Abbie looked gorgeous, and her and Nico make such a cute couple! I was so glad we were able to get to go! After the Temple ceremony, they had a ring ceremony b/c most of both sides of the family are not members, and it was so beautiful!
We defnatley got our groove on at the reception ! When the introduced the bridal party to the room, we jammed down the aisle to "yeah" by Usher, and the new couple came in groovin to "sexy back" by Justin Timberlake. It was hilarious! And after all the usual reception things, everyone just DANCED!

Then, after we house-hunted for a day or two ( still haven't found anything we absoluetely LOVED yet), we jetted of to beautiful Miami for our company's cruise!! Oh my word..can i just tell you how much fun it was? We traveled from Miami, to Nassau, where the atlantis resort is, and that place alone is amazing! then from there we went to Cococay, which is Royal Carribbean's own private island, and if you walked out 50 feet from the beach into the ocean, itw as still up to your waist! it was soo beautiful :)



Then from there we went to Key west, which i never ever want to go to again! haha..they were smack in the middle of their "Fantasy Fest" which is like their own version of mardi gras, and attracts a HUGE number of gays, lesbians,and trannies..which i have no problem with at all, but when there are just completely naked people walking around..and i mean COMPLETELY naked i have a problem!! And on top of that, a tranvestite man dressed up as a cat sort of thing asked us to managez-trois! i had it, and wanted to get off that island! So we rented a scooter and just jetted around the coast for a while, then got back on the boat! Oh well, it was fun anyways!

Now, we are packing up our junk and driving to Utah for good! Then hopefully we'll be down in Texas in the next month or so to collect our junk we left there! So all you guys in texas hopefully we'll see you soon!! MUAH!

IT'S OVERRR

Our Summer here in Baltimore is officially OVERRRR...WAHOOOOO!! this has been the LONGEST summer ever! We leave tomorrow morning bright eyed and bushy tailed at 6 am for SLC for my best friend Abbie's wedding, as well as Jess's mission companion's wedding (the same day) and are house hunting, and then jet off to Miami for our Royal Carribbean cruise to the Bahamas! Be jealous! :) Anyways,I'll catch up when we get back!!!!

One Last Hurrah

This past saturday we went to the baltimore inner harbor one last time!

We leave this thursday for Utah for one of my best friend's weddings and one of Jess's mission

companions weddings which are on the SAME DAY! AH! so we're going to have to

run back and forth, but I'm actually in my friend Abbie's bridal party, so I am

obligated to be there for most of it! But anyways it's also exciting because we get to go and

look at HOUSES!!! wooo!! We have a few that we absolutely love so we are going to go

and check them out! Our fingers are crossed!Then after that weekend we fly right to

Miami for our CRUISEEE!!!! and we are just so excited for that i can't even tell you!

Anyways, so our last night at the harbor we ate at Cali Pizza kitchen which is always yummy

and then we just walked around the harbor and a few of our favorite stores by the water

(especially our FAV hat store ever!) But we just wanted to see the Harbor one last time

since we probably won't have time when we get back from the cruise because we

basically want to pack up and leave! But we were being extra silly and decided to do

this photobooth! The pictures make me laugh out loud every time i see them!

Geez...we never have fun!

Just My Luck

So, last night i was running with higgins at around 7:30. I had just gotten off the phone with my mom with the good news that the house they put an offer on got accepted and they hope to close on it by the end of the month! I was in such good spirits, and Jess was going to be home in a hour! Little did I know the tragedy that was about to happen. While running, I didn't happen
see the hole that I was about to step into.....which I did....and I fell, spraining my left ankle in the
process. For those of you who have never sprained an ankle..it is the WORST feeling EVER.
I am no stranger to sprains, and have sprained my ankles numerous times while I played
volleyball for 7 years and basketball for 5, but I would almost rather break my ankle than sprain
it! Ugh..so there I was sitting on the sidewalk with my dog freaking out at me, because I'm
not just upset I'm hysterical! So instinctively I called Jess just bawling my eyes out and sounding
pitiful as I'm stranded there. He calmed me down, while we were both laughing at the situation,
and after a few moments I somehow managed to get myself up and hobbled home with higgins in
tow. So, now I'm stuck at home not being able to run for a while with a cankle...awesome.

Shmeegle

So, this week I have been working hard to try and finish this horrible online math class that has taken me months and months and months! But anyways, because it takes up so much of my time, I have to do this schedule where I work on math for 2 hours, while Higgins is in his cage, and then I'll take a two hour break and play with him. Today, however, he has made it absolutely impossible to concentrate! Poor little buddy has just been barking non stop so of course I feel terrible so have had to play with him. I am NEVER going to get stuff done! Ahh!!

So I thought I'd just put up some pics of Higgins, whom we ususally just call Shmeegle, like the little troll guy in Lord of the Rings, (no idea where it came from it just stuck one day! ) But he is now 15 pounds, and just turned 9 months! He is such a fun puppy! All he wants to do 24/7 is PLAY!! He has so much energy which would be a lot nicer if we weren't stuck in a 1 bedroom apt!

He has learned to sit, lay down, stay (sometimes), and was completely potty trained to go outside @ 4 months! Despite being an incredibly energetic dog he is also incredibly loving and is always there with endless kisses! I can't wait until we have some kids for him to play with :) But for now our nieces and nephews in utah and idaho can't wait to meet him!
